Default Riddle me this, riddle me that
This question is a relatively easy number riddle.

We take a nine-digit number: abcdefghi which has the property that ab = 0 mod 2 abc = 0 mod 3 abcd = 0 mod 4 and so on. [e.g a=1 b=2 c=3 d=6] where ab does not mean a.b but 10a + b.

Given that in abcdefghi all the numbers between 1-9 are used once and only once, determine whether a number/numbers exists that satisfy's the above property and, if so, find all solutions. If not, prove why not.

you do know that their arre an infinite amount of numbers between the numbers 1 and 9 right? Also your "riddle" is unsolvable because the first step is flawed. Here is how

10(1)+2!=0
10(1)+3!=0
10(1)+4!=0
10(1)+5!=0
10(1)+6!=0
10(1)+7!=0
10(1)+8!=0
10(1)+9!=0

10(2)+1!=0
10(2)+3!=0
10(2)+4!=0

I beg to differ, I'm quite certain such a number/numbers does/do exist, but i won't reveal it/them.

Basically, it's solved by spotting a number of criteria that have to be fulfilled, and then trial and error with the few remaining cases.
